1. only now i discovered that im actually a sandwich sucker. feed me with sandwiches (O’Brien’s, please. not Subway!) and i will be a good boy.

2. 3 days of holidays are coming up. mum and dad are coming over….so its going to be fun…i hope….haha…

3. MH came back and gone. not even a single word until he was heading to the airport. shit bugger! i will eat until you broke when you come back next time!!! *devil’s grin*

4. ryoondo-tea (凉音堂茶铺)’s releases are among the most expensive ones that come out from Japan. it costs me 5700YEN just to get plot’s “ondo” album and snoweffect’s “invisible gardens” album. damn! im so bloody broke now!

5. side note: plot’s “ondo” album is damn brilliant. it didn’t get me much when i first listened to it…but it gradually grows on me. now im totally hooked with it. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended!!! its a perfect BGM album for WHATEVER you are doing!

6. finally, we have managed to get 2 of our favourite artists to contribute to flica’s upcoming debut album “windvane and window” (to be released by my label, mu-nest ^^). the 2 of them will be doing a remix each to back the already awesome 8-tracks album. hohoho…mouth-watering!! all i can say at the moment is that both of the artists are from Japan, and those who have been following this blog, you can bet you have heard of them — alot!!

7. got off from the office for 3 days to attend a workshop called “the 7 habits of highly effective people”. the name may sound a bit lame and hard-sell, but i can assure you that it is indeed a superb course — probably one of the best that i’ve ever attended during my 6 years in this company. those who think their life sucks and still can’t get over it, this one is for you. cheers.

8. got myself a new Nintendo DS Lite. 玩物喪志 is now my middle name~

9. muxu lastest EP “show us your weak side” (what a freaking cool title!!) will be released by the famous net label Monotonik on 2-Sept-2007. the duo are probably the first Malaysian being featured in Monotonik’s 11 years of history. kudos to them! keep up the good work!

10. “you don’t have to love the system to love your country”. happy MERDEKA day.

Lucrecia - Like Being Home EP

Lucrecia - Like being home EP, 2007

“With a flawless narrative solvency, in the new Lucrecia ep remains certain traces of their previous effort, and although both of them share some obvious resemblances, she gives more space to the acoustic instruments and leaves aside some elements that she no longer considers indispensable. Lucrecia has never humanized herself this way before, she is less indulgent and more personal. Surprising author music in the best sense of the word.”

About Lucrecia

Lucrecia

Lucrecia began her music project in Medellín, Colombia in 2003. Acerca, her first full length album was released under the colombian label Series in 2005, and was re-mastered and re-released in 2007 by the mexican label Mil Records with some new tracks and new versions of the songs. Like being Home is her first EP released under the netlabel section of Series , in which she works using more acoustic sounds, recording the sounds of everyday life objects and with a better vocal exploration, all mixed with the characteristical sound of her previous works: Soft voices and beautiful melodies.

Lucrecia has also made some remixes for two members of Mil records from Mexico called Latinziser and Tre/molo, and vocal collaborations for Jack’s son from Abolipop Records and Arhkota Drummer.
